Green Pheasant Gifts

Like lots of local businesses, Green Pheasant Gifts has had to adapt quickly to the current circumstances. Owner Jade Barson was born in Chipping and has lived locally all her life. She opened her gift and homeware boutique on Winkley Street, Preston at the beginning of March this year, only to have to close a couple of weeks later. Some people might have given up but instead, Jade has been finding creative ways to bring her beautiful products to her new customers.  

The Green Pheasant Gifts website is currently being developed but the Facebook and Instagram pages @greenpheasantgifts are very active. Here Jade showcases her range of rural chic and vintage luxury items. Working with local suppliers where possible, Green Pheasant Gifts offers an opportunity to purchase stylish, one-of-a-kind gifts while we are stuck at home.  

Whether it’s a pick-me-up for yourself or a thoughtful gift for a friend, Green Pheasant Gifts has everything you need. From candles and pamper kits to stylish homeware and pretty jewellery, you will be spoilt for choice. If you are looking to add a little flair to your daily walk, how about a stylish Fedora hat or perhaps a feather boot tassel? There is even something for the kids with fun baking kits and brightly coloured gulp bottles.  

Shopping is simple. When you see something you like on Facebook or Instagram, just message for details. Many orders received since the lockdown started are for gifts for family and friends. If you need some bright ideas, Jade can advise on a range of items within your budget, then make a gift parcel for you – she will even write the card. Your payment is made securely online and you gain loyalty points to spend on future purchases. Finally, let Jade know where your gifts are going and she will arrange delivery.  

It will be great when we can visit Green Pheasant Gifts in person. For now though, this new local business is doing an amazing job of staying in touch with customers and providing the lovely little things we need to keep us going.
